GERMANY Mohamed Abdelrahman Ferah (m), aged 33

On 23 July, the German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, repealed its decision to forcibly return Mohamed Abdelrahman Ferah to Eritrea.

Mohamed Abdelrahman Ferah arrived in Frankfurt on 12 May 2008, having travelled from Eritrea to Germany via Sudan and Nigeria. His application for asylum was rejected by the German authorities and he then lost his appeal.

This decision has now been repealed and Mohamed Abdelrahman Ferah has been allowed to enter Germany and apply for asylum without risk of expulsion.

No further action is required from the UA Network at present. Many thanks to all those who sent appeals.
