USA: Execution set in sniper shooting case

John Allen Muhammad is due to be executed in Virginia on 10 November. He was convicted in 2003 of capital murder in relation to a series of shootings in 2002. His lawyers are seeking clemency on the grounds that he suffers from serious mental impairment.
