Asia: ADPAN: When justice fails: Thousands executed in Asia after unfair trials

More people are executed in the Asia-Pacific region than in the rest of the world combined. Add to this the probability that they were executed following an unfair trial, and the gross injustice of this punishment becomes all too clear. This report highlights laws and practices in the region which undermine international standards of fair trial. It includes cases from China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore and Taiwan.
