Belarus: Further information: Belarus Supreme Court rejects second appeal

On 27 October, the Supreme Court of Belarus rejected the appeal of Andrei Zhuk, the second man whose death sentence has been upheld within the last month. Once he receives written notification of the rejection, Andrei Zhuk will have 10 days in which to apply to President Lukashenka for clemency.
