In view of the forthcoming visit to Azerbaijan by the co-rapporteurs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe’s Monitoring Committee, Amnesty International wishes to draw their and the Committee’s attention to human rights concerns regarding freedom of expression, assembly and association as well as torture and other ill-treatment.
