In this document Amnesty International calls on the occupying forces in Iraq to take urgent measures to enforce law and order in areas under their control, specifically by preventing acts of pillage, destruction and violence to people; to ensure the provision of food, water and medical supplies to people living in areas under their control; and to maintain medical and hospital services, public health and hygiene.
