Every year hundreds of women, including girls, are trafficked from the countries of the former Soviet Union to work in Israel's sex industry. Many of these women are subjected to human rights abuses in Israel. Under Israeli law, virtually all these women are illegal aliens, making them particularly vulnerable to human rights abuses
