Amnesty International is submitting this briefing to the UN CEDAW Committee ahead of its consideration of Israel's third periodic report on the implementation by Israel of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW). The briefing focuses on Amnesty International's concern about some aspects of violence and discrimination against women, including trafficking of women for forced prostitution and discriminatory policies and practices against women migrant workers in Israel.
