&lt;li&gt;To organize, take part in and lead, where agreed, field research and other missions, leading specifically on information-gathering, fact-finding, analysis and assessment of human rights concerns, including in response to crisis situations; prepare, where necessary, security assessments, political and other briefings in relation to the mission for IS management, mission participants and internal or external stakeholders; and represent AI in the field;&lt;/li&gt;

	&lt;li&gt;Monitor and maintain a broad overview of relevant political and human rights developments. &lt;/li&gt;

Coordinates the provision of a shared administrative service to the HR Programme, supervising the support team and working closely with the rest of the HR Team to deliver a proactive, effective and good quality HR service that meets the needs of the International Secretariat (IS).&amp;nbsp; Acts as the system administrator for the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and develops and tailors the system to meet the needs of HRP and the IS.&amp;nbsp; Contributes to the operational management of the HR function as a member of the programme&amp;rsquo;s Leadership Team. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2&gt;Main Responsibilities:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Supervise and coordinate the day to day work of the support team to ensure that the administrative support requirements of the programme, advisory teams and International Secretariat staff are serviced promptly and to good quality standards, workload is managed and resources are provided to enable the team to deliver.&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Communicate and explain policies and processes, giving guidance to line managers and staff, referring non-standard queries to the Advisory Teams as appropriate, so that queries are answered in a timely and satisfactory manner with no need for hand off. In responding, the post holder needs to be aware of, and act accordingly, in respect of relevant employment legislation and HR policies and practices.&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Provide coaching and development to the administrators so that their knowledge, confidence and effectiveness is developed. &lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Develop or refresh service level agreements, systems and processes and ensure that the team uses these to produce work in accordance with agreed timeframes and to agreed standards for responding to queries (email telephone and face to face) and for processing HR and accounting transactions.&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Manage the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), including updating and maintaining the intranet, checking and ensuring all records and information entered are accurate and up to date in order for staff and management to have confidence in its utility and value. Develop the HRIS to respond to the needs of the IS through proactive engagement with its staff, union and management so that all information needs are easily served and staff have access to their transactional and personal details for ease of review and for processing HR transactions. &lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Coordinate monthly payroll-related changes, implemented by the support team on line management initiation, to instruct payroll in London and all Non-London Offices to implement these. Check and verify that all changes have been processed and conform to instructions given before payment is made in order to ensure that employees receive the correct remuneration.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Coordinate the monthly review by the Leadership Team of budgetary spend in programme ensuring that any adjustments required are communicated to the Finance Programme and follow up to ensure that actioned. Maintain spending within agreed limits, as delegated by the Director HRP, and understand the drivers to expenditure in order to monitor spend, contribute effectively to the budget planning cycle and ensure projections are realistic, sufficient to avoid over expenditure and enable the work required to take place. &lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Produce, analyse and monitor a range of HR performance statistics and reports to show organizational trends, raise and discuss these appropriately thereby enabling any action required to be made in a timely manner. Work with other members of staff in the programme to develop further useful management reporting.&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Undertake and or lead projects that contribute to the programme achieving its overall goals and ensure delivery of HRP strategic objectives.&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Contribute to the overall flexibility and effectiveness of the programme by providing cover for programme staff and team members, participating as necessary in HR activities and carrying out other tasks that may be required to fulfil the purpose of the post.&lt;/li&gt;

	&lt;li&gt;Demonstrated experience of supervising a team and managing individual and team workload in terms of completing routine and urgent work with tight deadlines, prioritizing clearly, giving instructions and delegating tasks effectively and collaboratively to a team and providing status and workload reports to management.&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Demonstrated experience with managing a human resources information system and intranet which includes maintaining data integrity, system development and creating and managing the flow of information to the organization.&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Confidence with using general computer applications, the ability to learn new features, develop systems in order to enhance the efficiency of work and experience of maintaining and managing databases to improve operational performance &lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Understanding of salary and benefits administration including the starters and leavers processes and staff entitlements.&lt;/li&gt;
