Further information on UA 95/92 (AFR 54/09/92, 20 March 1992) - "Disappearance"

Sudan:Otto George Dangasuk

Otto George Dangasuk, a Sudanese asylum-seeker in the Netherlands who was denied asylum and expelled to Sudan in early March, is now in Egypt. He may have left his plane in Cairo and thus avoided being sent on to Sudan. Amnesty International had earlier received reports that he had "disappeared" after arriving in Khartoum and it was thought that he had been detained at the airport. Amnesty International is contacting the Dutch authorities and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees about his asylum application.

Please end all actions on his behalf immediately. Thank you to all those who sent appeals on his behalf.
