Amnesty International continues to be very concerned about the fact that Louis Jodel Chamblain has not been re-tried for the 1994 Raboteau massacre and the extrajudicial execution of Antoine Izméry in 1993.

Although the web action has now ended, Amnesty International will continue to pressure the Haitian authorities to ensure that no amnesty for human rights violations is given as part of a political settlement in Haiti or for any other reason, and that Louis Jodel Chamblain is given a fair trial in compliance with international standards.
