UK: Launch of report into allegations of widespread rape in Kenya



Hundreds of women are alleged to have been raped by UK Army servicemen posted to Kenya between 1965 and 2001. Secretary General Irene Khan will present Amnesty International's report into these allegations to the media at a press briefing.


Testimony from some of these women will be screened at the briefing. Broadcast journalists please note that a News Access Tape which includes interviews and testimony will be available at the press briefing, please request a copy when confirming your attendance.
