Montenegro: Amnesty International statement on Montenegrin organization “Amnesti”

The worldwide organization Amnesty International would like to publicly disassociate itself from the statements made by "Amnesti", a Montenegrin non-governmental organization (NGO) in the newspaper Dan on 9 November 2009, and subsequently.

"Amnesti" has no connections with the international organization, Amnesty International, nor was it authorised by Amnesty International to make any such statement.

Amnesty International has no position on the allegations made by the local NGO "Amnesti" concerning war crimes in the Bukovica region.
