Bahrain : Visit of an Amnesty International delegation


An Amnesty International delegation led by Mr Bartram Brown, Professor of Law at Chicago University, and including Ms June Ray, Director of the Middle East program in the International Secretariat and Said Boumedouha, a researcher in the Middle East program, will be visiting Bahrain from 10-14 March 2001 to discuss with the authorities issues related to the protection and promotion of culture of human rights in the country.


The delegation will be meeting senior government officials, as well as representatives of the civil society, former prisoners of conscience and the media.
