In this open letter, the Post-2015 Human Rights Caucus – a broad coalition of development, environmental, feminist, trade union and human rights organizations worldwide – present their response to the United Nations Secretary-General’s Report “The Road to Dignity by 2030: Ending Poverty, Transforming All Lives and Protecting the Planet” (The ‘Synthesis Report’). The document highlights some key areas of the Synthesis Report and also identifies some issues which the coalition believes are overlooked or underestimated, despite their long-established importance for enjoyment of human rights and sustainable development.
