Pursuing justice, not revenge: Amnesty International's position on bringing to justice those responsible for the crimes of 11 September and for abuses committed in Afghanistan

This document presents Amnesty International's recommendations to ensure that the perpetrators of the 11 September attacks and of abuses during the conflict in Afghanistan are brought to justice in accordance with international human rights standards. It examines the implications of a trial before a military commission in the United States and looks at the role that the international community can play in apprehending and prosecting suspects.
