The above, a 38-year-old Ethiopian refugee in Djibouti, was arrested by Djiboutian police in a refugee camp on 17 August 1996. He has not been seen since. There are reports that he has been handed over to the Ethiopian authorities and that he is currently in detention at an unknown location in Ethiopia, despite being a refugee registered by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
