Journalist Nadjikimo Benoudjita was arrested on 14 December 2007 by a group of more than a dozen police officers, who came to his home in the Moursal district of the capital, N'Djamena with no arrest warrant, and gave no reason for detaining him. He is in grave danger of torture.
