This report examines those human rights violations carried out by military personnel since the 1999 coup. The report looks at the pattern of extrajudicial executions, arbitrary arrest and detention of former government ministers and the continuing harassment of journalists. During a fact finding mission the Amnesty International delegation met numerous witnesses and victims of abuses and some of their testimonies are recorded here.
