Sid'Ahmed Ould Haidalla, the son of former presidential candidate Mohamed Khouna Ould Haidalla, is being subjected to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment amounting to torture. He has been charged with "conspiracy and rebellion against public order" in connection with a case which began in 2002.
