Ladi Olorunyomi, a 35-year-old journalist and wife of exiled journalist Dapo Olorunyomi, was released on 6 May 1997, after being detained without charge or trial since 20 March. As a condition of her release, she has to report twice weekly to the Directorate of Military Intelligence Headquarters in Apapa, Lagos.
