Togo: Time for accountability: Tavio Amorin, human rights defender

This document looks at the case of human rights defender Tavio Amorin who was extrajudicially executed in 1992. Despite evidence found at the scene which pointed to the involvement of the Togolese security forces the government refused an investigation and has since declared the case closed under the December 1994 Amnesty Law.
