Indigenous peoples of the Americas 1992: second appeal cases and order form for photographs

This circular contains appeal cases from seven countries in the Americas, illustrating the types of violations suffered by indigenous peoples in those countries. They are: USA: the case of Leonard Peltier; Honduras: the killing of Vicente Matute Cruz; Canada: the killings of John Joseph Harper and Helen Betty Osborne; Colombia: the killing of 20 Paez Indians, including women and children; Mexico: the killing of one Mixe Indian and the arbitrary arrest and torture of six others; Guatemala: the “disappearance” of Maria Tiu Tojin and her one-month-old daughter; Peru: the killing of 14-year-old Juanita Cconan Saune and 17 others, exhumed from mass graves on 18 October 1990 in Chilcahuaycco, Huamanga province.
