Bolivia: Key human rights concerns: Amnesty International Submission to the UN Universal Periodic Review, October-November 2014

In this submission, Amnesty International evaluates the implementation of recommendations made in the previous cycle of the Universal Periodic Review, noting that more needs to be done to fully implement these recommendations. In particular, Amnesty International is concerned at the lack of progress with respect to justice and reparations for past human rights violations and women’s sexual and reproductive rights. There are ongoing issues around Indigenous Peoples’s rights, prison conditions, and human rights defenders.
