Brazil: Implementation of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court in National Legislation

Amnesty International welcomes the submission to the National Congress of draft legislation to implement the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court. The draft legislation has a number of positive elements but it also has some serious flaws. Amnesty International would like to draw the subjects raised in this document to the attention of the Brazilian authorities and recommends that they be taken into consideration in the version of the legislation that becomes into force.
