According to reports based on Cuban media sources the above men were sentenced to death on 1 October 1993 after being convicted of murder and coercion by the Las Tunas People’s Provincial Tribunal in Case No 467/93. Their case will now be reviewed, but the review process and execution in some cases take only a matter of days or weeks.
