Amnesty International urges the Dominican Republic to implement the recommendations made by the United Nations Human Rights Committee. Recommendations focus in particular on illegal killings; torture and degrading treatment; prison conditions; and treatment of suspected Haitians. AI's submission to the UNHRC, as well as the Committee's recommendations, are incorporated into the attached report.
