This document highlights some key cases and is intended to renew Amnesty International’s efforts towards ending impunity in El Salvador. The organization has argued against the Amnesty Law, which has served as a shield for those responsible for human rights violations and should not apply to the massive human rights violations committed in El Salvador which constitute crimes against humanity.
