USA: In whose best interests? Omar Khadr, child ‘enemy combatant’ facing military commission

Omar Khadr, a Canadian national, has been in US military detention for approaching six years. It appears the USA’s treatment of Omar Khadr has been conducted in its own perceived national security interests rather than the best interests of the child.
