China: Incommunicado detention/ prisoners of conscience/ fear of torture and ill-treatment

Prisoners of conscience Yan Dongfei and Qiao Yongfang were detained on 8 June 2009 in the city of Hohhot (Huhehaote), in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in northern China. They are being held incommunicado at the No.1 Detention Center of Hohhot, where they are at serious risk of torture or other ill-treatment.
