Human rights activist Yang Chunlin, aged 52, who was detained on 6 July 2007, is said to have been tortured in Heitong Police Station in Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang province. He is still held incommunicado after more than three months in detention. Amnesty fears he is at further risk of torture and ill-treatment.
