In this report Amnesty International is calling on the Government of Jammu and Kashmir to implement public assurances given by the Chief Minister that a recent series of unlawful killings in the state would be promptly subjected to independent and impartial inquiry by a member of the higher judiciary with a view to holding the perpetrators to account.
