This circular contains excerpts from a selection of letters from prisoners to Amnesty International groups. They show the encouragement and support prisoners gain through correspondence with Amnesty International members. Some of the prisoners quoted here remain in prison, while others have been recently released. Letters from the following prisoners in South Korea are quoted: Kim Song-man and Hwang Tae-kwon; Kim Chin-yop; Mun Pu-shik; Pang Yang-kyun; Lee Byung-gyu. One letter is included from a prisoner of conscience in Taiwan, Cheung Ki-lok.
