Viet Nam: Continued detention of members of religious organizations

This document reports Amnesty International’s concern about the continuing detention of at least 60 people, including prisoners of conscience, apparently for the peaceful expression of their religious beliefs. Members of the Protestant church have reportedly been detained without trial while others have been imprisoned after allegedly unfair trials. Buddhist monks and Catholic priests are also reported to be imprisoned. Several of them were reportedly held for a number of years without trial.
