Albania: Open letter to members of the Albanian Parliament urging rejection of the impunity agreement with the United States of America on the International Criminal Court.

Amnesty International is concerned that on 2 May 2003 the Government of Albania signed a bilateral agreement with the Government of the United States of America which would oblige the government not to surrender to the new International Criminal Court United States nationals accused of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes. Amnesty International is writing to each member of the Albanian Parliament to urge them not to ratify this agreement.
