The United Nations (UN) Committee against Torture (the Committee) will consider Sweden´s combined sixth and seventh periodic report on the implementation of the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (the Convention) in November 2014. This submission summarizes Amnesty International´s main concerns about Sweden´s failure to comply with some of its obligations under the Convention.
