Ilkhom Ismanov, who is being held by authorities in the Soghd region of Tajikistan, has stopped being tortured. An NGO in Tajikistan has said that the Urgent Action on 15 November played a crucial role in ending his torture. However, there is no indication that a medical examination has been conducted or that an investigation has been opened into the allegations of torture.
