The findings of Amnesty International's investigations presented in this report are illustrative of a pattern of police abuses which underline the urgency of measures which the Czech authorities should implement in order to ensure that law enforcement officials respect the rights of people deprived of their liberty and to put in place a system for prompt and impartial investigations into all complaints of torture and ill-treatment.
