United Nations: 9th Inter-Committee Meeting of the Treaty Bodies - contribution of non-governmental organizations

This paper was presented to the 9th Inter-Committee Meeting (ICM) of the Treaty Bodies and 21st meeting of Chairpersons on behalf of several non-governmental organizations (NGOs). These organizations contribute to many aspects of the on-going work of the treaty bodies. While most of the recommendations in this paper relate to the treaty bodies, some are also directed to the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) and to the treaty bodies’ secretariats.
