International Criminal Court: Initial Recommendations on the Review Conference

The eighth session of the Assembly of States Parties is an important opportunity for states parties to the Rome Statute to advance preparations for the first Review Conference of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (Review Conference) scheduled to take place in 2010. There are four items which the Review Conference must consider or which it has been recommended to consider and, in this paper, Amnesty International sets out its initial recommendations on these issues.
