In this document Amnesty International comments on the Special Representative of the Secretary-General's (SRSG) third report and also raises some issues which the SRSG has not substantially addressed to date. Amnesty International believes that the proposed policy framework, which emphasizes three key principles - the state duty to protect in the context of corporate human rights abuses; the company responsibility to respect all human rights; and access to remedies, has the potential to make an important contribution to the protection of human rights.
