This document describes the concerns that Amnesty International will raise at the 57th session of the UN Commission on Human Rights. AI is calling for action on Colombia, Indonesia, Russian Federation / Chechnya, Saudi Arabia and Sierra Leone, where human rights abuses are grave. AI will also draw attention to the need to act on thematic issues: the death penalty, “disappearances”, and torture.
