Amnesty International’s wrap-up statement on some of the developments at the 21st session of the UN Human Rights Council

In this statement, Amnesty International comments on the positive developments made in the session, including in connection with the safety of journalists, human rights and preventable maternal mortality and morbidity, human rights and extreme poverty, and Syria. The organization also comments on Eritrea; vilifications of Islam and Muslims; sanitation and safe drinking water; indiscriminate aerial bombardments and Sudan.
