In this document, Amnesty International sets out its observations on a number of the topics selected by the Working Group for further debate and discussion in the ongoing process of drafting guidelines on accelerated procedures. As the guidelines should, among other things help EU Member States to ensure respect and protection of human rights while applying relevant EU legislation, this document has a special focus on the potential human rights impact of EU instruments in the context of accelerated procedures.
