Recommendations for the elaboration of Rules of Procedure of the Arab Human Rights Committee

In this document Amnesty International recommends that in determining its own rules of procedure the Arab Human Rights Committee should adopt a standard that takes into account and builds progressively upon the standards of other international human rights treaty monitoring bodies, such as those established by the UN. The organization highlights issues that must be adequately addressed by the Committee in establishing its rules of procedure.
