Osama Nasr Mostafa Hassan was abducted on a Milan street, taken to a US military base in Germany and flown from there to Egypt where he was allegedly tortured. Released in 2004, he was rearrested and remains held in an unknown place of detention. In this action sheet Amnesty International asks that the Egyptian Authorities:- stop secret detentions and torture and ill-treatment; investigate and prosecute alleged perpetrators of torture etc; release Osama Nasr Mostafa Hasssan if he is not to be promptly prosecuted in a fair trial.
