Mohammad Fathi 'Abd al-'Azim and Mahmoud Mostafa Sulaymanwere excuted on 11 June 1998. They were originally acquitted of charges against them after the court ruled that t heir confessions were extracted under torture but were retried at the behest of the Egyptian Prime Minister and sentenced to death.
