The execution of Mohammad Reza Haddadi, a 21-year-old man, has been scheduled in the city of Shiraz, southern Iran, on 9 December 2009. He has been sentenced to death for a crime he allegedly committed while under the age of 18. This is the fourth time his execution has been scheduled and only the Head of the Judiciary can now alter the outcome of the case.
