Samar Sa'ad 'Abdullah is 27 years old and is in imminent danger of execution. She was sentenced to death for murder in 2005 and the sentence was upheld in 2007. She says that she was tortured by police into "confessing" but that in fact her fiancé killed her relatives to rob her uncle. It appears that her fiancé has never been arrested. In this case sheet Amnesty International calls on the Iraqi authorities to stop the execution of all prisoners on death row and to investigate her allegations of torture.
