Saudi Arabia: Outspoken human rights defender sentenced: Mikhlif bin Daham al-Shammari

A Saudi Arabian court has sentenced a prominent human rights defender to five years in prison and a 10-year travel ban. He is free pending his appeal, but he could be detained at any time, and would be at risk of torture and other ill-treatment in custody.
